Our Story
At Axcel International School, we believe education should prepare young people for life, not just for exams. We chose a Cambridge IGCSE education that takes into account not only success in studies, but also the future careers of our students.
Alongside strong academic content, we teach future-ready skills from financial intelligence and problem solving to pitching, and the responsible use of AI woven into our unique Axcel Programme.
Our approach blends theoretical study with practical, hands-on work, so learning is active and every student takes part. We encourage questioning, healthy risk-taking, and learning from mistakes developing inquisitive, independent thinkers with a genuine love of learning.

How We Learn
Learning That Puts Students in Charge
At Axcel, learning is active. We use a mix of proven approaches so every child stays curious, engaged and able to learn in the way that suits them best.
From “I don’t know” to “I can find out”, and from “I listen in class” to “I explain and teach others”: students learn by thinking, making, practising, and teaching, with AI including the Axcel AI Tutor as one of many tools alongside books, experiments, projects, and discussion.

Our character programme draws on training from Character First, a globally recognised character training institute, teaching good character and ethical intelligence in deliberate, everyday parts of school life.
OUR EDUCATION TEAM
Leadership & Management
Mr Wynce Low Cha Shyang believes strongly in holistic education that connects students with the real world. His approach focuses on developing the right attitude, relevant life skills, and a proactive desire for knowledge. Formerly an Executive Director at an international bank, he is a debt markets origination specialist who led benchmark global sukuk transactions across Asia and won Best Debt House for eight consecutive years, from 2007 to 2014, at The Assets Triple-A Country Awards. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Professional Trainer and Facilitator conferred by the University of Malaya.
Ms Susan Koh strongly believes that every child can learn. Her mission is to inspire a love for learning and achievement, built on the values of courtesy, discipline, integrity, respect, and the desire to succeed. She has more than 30 years of experience in education, having served as a teacher, vice principal, and principal. She graduated from the University of Malaya and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in School Management from King’s College London.
Ms Jenny Mak believes that students should enjoy learning while achieving strong academic results. For her, students’ success is also her success. She has more than 30 years of experience in education, having served as a lecturer, programme coordinator, and teacher of English and Mandarin in primary and secondary schools. She holds a Master of Education and teaching certificates from the UK.
