The Axcel Programmes

Future-Ready Skills Taught as a Subject

What makes an Axcel education different is that future-ready skills are taught as dedicated subjects across every year level. Our 2026 framework (NF APP) delivers:

Next Futurist

Students look at where the world is heading and what that means for people, work and the planet.

They explore emerging trends and turn them into ideas of their own.

In the New Product Innovation strand, students invent products through observation, experimentation and applying what they have learned in Science moving from “what if” to a working prototype.

Financial Intelligence

Students keep their own books.

They record and manage real financial transactions, and learn why savings function as capital rather than as money left over.

Alongside the bookkeeping, students play the CashFlow board game, which turns decisions about income, expenses, debt and investment into something they can see and feel

AI in Action

Students use AI as an everyday working tool, responsibly and out in the open.

The Axcel AI Tutor helps them strengthen their Malay and English  supporting essay writing, explaining new vocabulary and giving feedback they can act on straight away.

It sits alongside our student e-library, so help with reading and writing is available whenever they need it, not only in class.

Problem Solving

Problem solving is a practical skill, and like any practical skill it improves with repetition.

Students are taught structured strategies for breaking a problem down, testing approaches and recognising when to change tack.

As the mathematician George Pólya wrote, solving problems is a practical art like swimming or playing the piano you can only learn it by imitation and practice.

Pitching & Presentation

Presenting is now a normal part of school life at Axcel, individually and in groups, in class and at events.

Axcel is an approved TED-Ed Club, a global programme that supports students in discovering, exploring and presenting their own big ideas as short TED-style talks.

Students learn to hold a room, structure an argument and answer the question they were actually asked.

These come to life through hands-on projects and simulations where students apply every skill in a single, real build.
